Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor. She was born on June 13th in 1962. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). Then she enrolled in the Bratpack and starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). Sheedy's performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy was born in the US and is both an actress and an author. She started her film career beginning in the early 1980s, with the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she was rewarded with a great deal of praise. Rick Rosenthal was the director of the film where other actors were equally prominent, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Following her success in her first film she later appeared in the comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. John Hughes directed one of greatest films for high schools. Despite a budget of only one million dollars, the film's profits exceeded $50 million. Additionally, she began appearing in various TV shows such as CBS Schoolbreak which was her TV debut. In April 1980, the show started airing. The show was designed for teens. Other TV shows she appeared in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film featuring a superhero where Sheedy is the role of a tiny cameo. Sheedy is known for her incredible performances. Sheedy has won numerous awards including an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
